In 1970, Mr Harland founded the company in a small unit on Victoria Street, Liverpool.

In 2015, Mr Harland semi-retired and decided to sell the business to Mr. Nick Collier.

Mr Collier gained his experience of traditional English tailoring with Gieves and Hawkes, No.1 Savile Row. He was with Gieves and Hawkes for ten years, rising through the 'ranks' to become their store manager.

Before tailoring, Mr. Collier was a soldier in the Royal Marines. Due to their meticulous dress he found it second nature to move into tailoring.
